Grace Papineau-Couture is a Canadian artist from Edmonton, Alberta and currently based in Chicago, Illinois. Through sound, installation and performance, Grace pulls at the threads of folk horror, creating and dismantling rituals and superstitions through drone. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in experimental media and printmaking from the University of Alberta and a Masters of Fine Art in interdisciplinary studio arts from Columbia College Chicago.
They perform live under the name Mountain Laurel.
