    Wonderful Steve! Let’s get together and do some abusive BAS cartoons when I’m in Chi at the fair! I like Amanda here the best. Now can someone clue me in on what and who Lifson and Hello Beautiful is? The name is really disgusting.

    I just did, and now I know. The Shark says, in short, it is exactly what you would expect from the show’s name. — Well, he said far more, and more exact descriptions, as you could guess, since you are attacking the show.

    Whew, maybe I’ll listen in on the web sometime, although Wesley says that would be painful! He says “Great for you guys” that you are taking him on and will cheer for you.

    Let me know what I can do to help out too.

    To hell with cartoon sharks -when the real thing comes gliding into view…….Hello Beautiful sucks -but so does much of the coverage we have inflicted upon us here -how about the apparatchik extraordinaire, that covers the scene here for Art In America? And no, I’m not referring to the either semi- retarded or just profoundly stupid Victor Cassidy who is almost too dumb to in good concience make fun of -but rather to the bureaucratic mouthpiece of the Consensus Clique – the Consensoriat apologist known as Susan Snodgrass…….people, how long are we going to put up with this degraded, insultingly corrupt, one-sided excuse of what passes itself off here as art criticism?

    well, there really is no need to declare war when you are a shark- besides why single out any one group? The Chicago art world is especially venal and corrupt. Shall I name names? -I always do. In fact, specificity is always a big part of The Sharks attack!…..the collectors group that surround and support (fawn) all over Mr. Curator (aka The Unfortunate James Rondodo) -the incredibly bought and paid for, mouthpiece style art writing we have had to deal with for years -Snodgrass and company, the total disregard for artist here when it comes to both, the institutions and most major collectors- the amount of power the universities/art educators have here -at the expense of professional artists-…… slackers? -how about the galleries -that even on opening night in September -just cannot see their way clear to stay open past 8-9pm -closing their doors while the streets are literally still closed off due to the crowds- after all they must just be just exhausted that 11:00 to 5:30 five day work week – so utterly draconian and unfair!
