Shane McAdams is an artist, curator and writer living in Brooklyn, NY. He received his MFA from the Pratt Institute. He has contributed cultural criticism to the Brooklyn Rail since 2003. His art has been shown at Caren Golden Fine Art, Allegra LaViola Gallery, Marlborough and Elizabeth Leach Gallery, among others.
His work has been reviewed in the New York Times, the New York Observer and the Village Voice. He has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, Marian University and currently commutes between Wisconsin and Brooklyn to teach art, an experience that forms the basis for his contribution to Bad at Sports.
