Congratulations to BAS on 100 episodes!
Might as well jump! Jump!
Thanks guys! Your the best.
Hard to believe you’ve made it this far without anyone being killed, or checking into rehab.
Oh, acutally …my trip to “New York” is rehab…sorry hunny
Amanda and Lindsey BFFs.
wow. congratulations guys. over 100 hours of quality stuff. and funny stickers.
Congrats you guys, it’s a helluva thing. This effort you guys have going is one of the few reasons I still take pride in this city.
BTW Amanda–really, really nice visiting you in “rehab” a few weeks back. I expect great things!

Congratulations you guys -and yet with all the work you have done, the sharkpack has done -even art or idiocy, and not forgetting iconoduel or, Lumpen……I wonder if we will all become like Simon Bolivar on his death bed, muttering about doing nothing more than plowing the sea……
case in point:
Sympathy For The Devil -the MCA’s Rock and Art show: one Chicago artist. plenty of the usual suspect from LA and plenty of local NYC artists……..ONE…..when is enough, enough people?
OH! and the highlights from the permanent collection? Qne deserving Chicago artist -Kerry James Marshall -AND TWO POLITICAL APPOINTEES! And what a shock! BOTH, KIRSHNER CLONES Tony Tasset and wife Judy Ledgerwood…
and we wonder why this utterly corrupt scene stays so parochial….What can you do but laugh it off….sheeeeesh!

Is there an echo?
Also KJM is hot stuff. That guy is awesome.
Congrats Richard, Duncan, and Amanda and Katherine et al… you guys have done your community a real service… even with a Canadian on board.
Thanks everyone, it couldn’t happen without you!!!
Hi,
My site is in french but I’ve add your site to my links. It’s my first time here, I was just browsing about Twombly’s incident…
Anyway, have a nice day!

I kept asking myself “Why is there NOT a space like The Mattress Factory in Chicago?” after I went there last year. The visit inspired me as to what could be. We have so many more resources here, so why not? Sure it is not COMPLETELY successful but, what space is? Certainly a worthwhile pilgrimage for midwesterners.
Shame on you guys for not forcing yourselves to slow down a bit and take in the Turrell works. All of them functioned just fine for me (however, I can see if you are at all claustrophobic, you would NOT be a happy camper). Those pieces are a hell of a lot better than the “fountain” we wound up with in Chicago. The AIC owns one of the “hole-in-the-wall works; disappointing that it is not installed (but not really surprising).
Good show and congrats on 100 episodes.

Holy fuck, another eye opening commentary for a critically hungry developing artist and friends. Thanks
100 episodes, its a stepping stone. You all will captivate curious and eager art addicts amuck, so long you keep this fantastic project moving. d
congrats on the 100 episodes! (i’m a week behind on the podcasts)
it was good to have richard abroad, the mattress factory has been doing great work for years. it’s a shame it couldn’t be a conversation with someone who works there, richard’s best work on the podcast are interviews. the reviews are tough, like listening to grad school critiques of work we can’t see.
congrats again on the 100! you guys are doing important work, thank you from Memphis.
I’m finally internetted, catching up, so a delayed Congrats, you fuckers. Now just record 300 more, and, like The Simpsons, you’ll get a major motion picture.
(richard = marge, duncan = homer, amanda = lisa, mike benedetto = sideshow bob?)
I forgot to add my “Gratulierung” on 100 shows. You guys and gals are great! And you have seriously twisted bad taste in music, Richard, or whoever the background-sound organizes. It is so bad that it circles back around and becomes quite good. Maybe you should do a BAS Soundtrack — the Greatest Hits from 100 Shows. On K-Tel.
Cool.
Nice!
Cool…
Interesting…
