Things everyone knows they are doing but as most people learned as kids there is a big difference between knowing something to be true and proving something to be true.

What if though, companies owned up to what they were doing and PR wasn’t pushed to spin? What if Letterman said he doesn’t care what you think of his sex life, either tune in and laugh or go to the other chin. If Facebook & Google reminded everyone that they are a company that makes it’s only source of revenue off of pimping your private information, its free remember? If Steve Jobs just finished the sentence he has been trying to say to consumers for years which is “I make the products I want and you will either like the simple walled garden I cultivate or go screw off, I owe you nothing. If I listened to you Apple would be smaller then Palm”.

Alas those days will never come since there are countless skilled and paid professionals who work very hard at refracting the actions of their organization in such a way that it is almost impossible for the average person to feel confident that anything specific is, in fact, happening. It’s a necessary evil that has a role until there are people that realize they shouldn’t just say whatever they might think in front of a Rolling Stone reporter, or that people really do start quiting jobs to spend more time with their family.

Till that day comes though, enjoy these films lol.

It’s been a long time since MTV has been on my radar for various reasons but Les Grossman from “Tropic Thunder” two years ago is reason enough for 3 or 4 posts. When Tom Cruise first played him back in 2008 it was to the delight of almost everyone I knew and myself. Now Les is back with more and is “producing” this years MTV Movie Awards.

The question now is can comedic lightning strike twice?

Trustocorp has also done works that promote: a brand of cereal called Banko$ “Eat the Rich”, Street Signs that say “yield to peace – until then war turns profits” & various other works of a similar nature.

When I was in school I wrote historical plays and will admit that most of them were horrible (except for one where I turned Romeo & Juliet into a rhyming western long before Baz Luhrmann) and every time I pushed the envelope even a little I got shot down. So deep down part of me is so proud of these fudging kids for pulling off a re-enactment of Scarface as a school play?!??

The other part is in abject shock of what is before me and thought it was unrealistic when it happened in a Kevin Smith film, I guess I take it back.

#UPDATE Reports are coming in that the video was a Art piece/calling card by a commercial and music video director named Marc Klasfeld

No, it’s specifically made and shown on Funny or Die. I could say much more but it would only ruin the best casted skit almost ever.

This is quite possibly the first time you have every SNL Presidential Doppelgänger on screen at the same time ever (just missing Rich Little) and showcases Will Ferrell, Chevy Chase, Jim Carrey, Fred Armisen, Darrell Hammond, Dan Aykroyd, Maya Rudolph, Dana Carvey & Directed by Ron Howard to promote the Consumer Financial Protection Agency that is under debate/creation right now. Regardless as a gift he (by not saying I couldn’t via email) has enabled me to release a 7 part 70 minute movie review of the worst film that everyone waited 26 hours in line for while it rained and slept on concrete with the curb as a pillow, yes “The Phantom Menace”.

Now you may ask yourself “Self, what can you say in 70 minutes that can’t be said in 10 (even with bonus seconds) do you just say the word “suck” over and over till it stops sounding like a real word?” to that I would say see a therapist since your talking to yourself and also reply you can say a lot. Trust me start watching and quit whenever you want but don’t make any plans for the next hour or so.
