The funny part is that originally all the Swiss watchmakers were feared in Europe because they were radical Anarchists (in the Jura area mostly). Now they are afraid due to the absolute precision. A lot of the extremely exact elements of the Space missions are Swiss made (the shield for the Mars unit, the lazer-mirror thing for the moon, etc.). Even though many average Swiss think the whole space thing is a Hollywood farce, because they begrudge the US and insist the US is actually technologically behind. The actual scientists and so on here in Cheeseyland work hand-in-hand with US and international research. Actually, I think you are right.
